The Editor in Chief, Brenda Anne Wilson of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA, welcomes new manuscripts for peer review on the following topics:

  • Microbial enzymes, proteins, nucleic acids and smaller molecular components of microbial cells

  • Applied microbiology, including environmental, food, agricultural, medical, pharmaceutical, veterinary, soil, systematics, water and biodeterioration
  • Microbial products and microbial biotechnology, outcomes, techniques and applications

Microbiology Insights is indexed in PubMed & PubMed Central, Directory of Open Access Journals and selected EBSCO & Gale databases.
