Call for Papers

The Editor in Chief, Dr. J. T. Efird, Stanford University School of Medicine, welcomes new manuscripts for peer review on the following topics:

  • Bioinformatic analysis of molecular genetic and/or clinical data pertaining to human cancer risk, prevention, outcome or treatment response
Cancer Informatics is indexed in PubMed Central (PMC), Directory of Open Access Journals, Scopus, Web of Science Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), and selected EBSCO, Elsevier, & Gale databases.

All papers accepted into these Special Collections will benefit from a reduced Article Processing Charge (APC) of $750 (£500 GBP), discounted from the full rate for a limited time.

All editorial decisions are the responsibility of Editor-in-Chief, Deputy Editor-in–Chief, or an Associate Editor. Each stage of the editorial and production process is monitored to prevent delays to the authors, who are regularly informed of changes in their paper’s status. Editorial contributors, journal staff, and external contractors who contribute to editorial and production processes are qualified, experienced professionals chosen for their ability to efficiently contribute towards high-quality published papers. Article processing charges are communicated to authors prior to and during manuscript submission. There are no additional fees based on use of color, figure or word-count.
