This Special Collection aims at providing biomedical researchers and clinicians associated with cancer therapy a broad view of the recent developments in metastatic breast cancer research. We welcome manuscripts on aggressive forms of breast cancers with special emphasis on metastasis and cancer progression .We will consider original research, short notes, case studies and review articles on metastatic breast cancer-related research for publication following peer review by the experts in this field.

Specific areas of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Breast cancer sub types with special emphasis on metastatic progression
  • Pathobiology of metastasis
  • Genetic and epigenetic basis of breast tumor metastasis
  • Invasive breast cancer models, signaling networks and emerging biomarkers
  • Immune system and breast cancer metastasis
  • Novel therapeutic strategies and clinical interventions combating metastatic breast cancer
  • Novel bioinformatics based approaches towards understanding breast cancer metastasis
