Perspectives in Medicinal Chemistry is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal that focuses on aiding medicinal chemists to keep apace with the expanding volume of information disseminated in their field by publishing articles by leading researchers that succinctly summarize observations from numerous original publications as hybrid review-commentaries, rather than providing exhaustive reviews of published work. These perspective articles are intended to be representative but not necessarily exhaustive overviews of recent advances in a particular research field and are intended to allow medicinal chemists to discuss emerging and existing targets, drug design as well as pertinent topics of interest (e.g., regulatory procedures) without the necessity of revealing proprietary information. The journal welcomes unsolicited article proposals.
