An international, peer reviewed, open access journal that focuses on all aspects of the health impacts of tobacco use and smoking cessation, including the short and long term effects of tobacco and marijuana use, tobacco-related cancer, other chronic disorders. Another focus is the health and economic benefits of smoking cessation; challenges surrounding nicotine addiction and the opportunities of medical treatment and harm reduction strategies. The focus of the journal is multidisciplinary including research from the social, psychological, epidemiological, prevention, economics, and treatment arenas, and Tobacco control and advocacy topics from developing countries and for vulnerable groups are of particular interest.
